Prospective Members

WELCOME!

Alpha Phi Omega uses the concept of fraternalism as a means of providing assistance to others while developing close bonds of friendship among its members.

APO is an inclusive group, open to all nationalities, backgrounds and genders, and we welcome you to become part of our amazing organization so that together, we can create inclusive communities for a more peaceful world in which to make a life, by developing leaders, uniting members through friendship, and rendering service to all.

Alpha Phi Omega exemplifies volunteerism like no other student organization. This is why more than 525,000 students have chosen Alpha Phi Omega since the Fraternity’s founding in 1925.

While membership in Alpha Phi Omega looks different on every campus and in each community, we’re all in pursuit of one common goal – leading through service to others. No matter where, joining or starting a chapter of Alpha Phi Omega will introduce you to a diverse and inclusive population of peers that develop into lifelong friends; help you turn ideas into actions that positively influence the world and those around you; help you find or further embrace your passion for service.

If any of that sounds like something you’d be interested in, APO is the place for you.

The information below will help you find and connect with a chapter on your campus or get information about how you can bring APO a campus near you!

Each chapter of Alpha Phi Omega develops its own programming based on the interests of its members, and the needs of its campus and community. This offers members the opportunity to develop new skills that will be used for years to come.

Service programs in Alpha Phi Omega will connect members with young and old, on campus and off, and provide space to improve the world in which we live, one project at a time. Better yet, members will be serving alongside friendships that last a lifetime.

Many members in Alpha Phi Omega claim they join for the service or leadership and stay for the friendships. Any student willing to provide service, develop leadership and build fellowship is welcome to join this vast network of servant leaders.

Alpha Phi Omega is currently looking to expand to the following campuses! We are actively inviting students from:
