Join Alpha Phi Omega in Belize for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be a part of an international service program! 

Be part of the change and immerse yourself in Belize’s incredible culture. Visit the Mayan ruins, snorkel in the reefs, brighten your taste buds with a cacao tour, experience community markets and more. 

You will get to teach, participate in beach clean ups, reforestation projects, after school programs, sports and more, while spreading APO’s vision of creating inclusive communities for a more peaceful world in which to make life, by developing leaders, uniting members through friendship and rendering service to all.

May 29, 2026 – June 7, 2026 

Lodging

As part of the program, participants will travel throughout Belize and stay with three amazing hotels and lodges: the Belize Zoo, Blue Creek Rainforest Preserve and South Water Caye on the Belize Barrier Reef.

What’s Included?

• (1) Night accommodation at Belize Zoo 

• (4) Night accommodation at Blue Creek Rainforest Preserve 

• (4) Night accommodation at South Water Caye Marine Reserve 

• Two meals per day in Belize 

• All shuttle transportation within Belize 

• All boat transfers 

• All activities listed in the itinerary 

• All park entrance fees, including $15 US per person South Water Caye marine reserve fee collected on behalf of the Belize fishery department 

• $50 per participant towards supplies/gifts to accompany service 

• Snorkeling gear for all participants 

• Onsite tips 

• All Taxes (9 % Hotel, 12.5% GST) 

• International health insurance for all participants 

• 24/7 support and emergency response in U.S. during travel and while onsite

• Visas (CCSA can provide guidance to non-US citizens needing visas)

Insurance 

APO understands that trips can come with hiccups, which is why we have worked with the Cultural Insurance Services International (CISI) to provide participants with insurance coverage while in Belize. Imagine spending 10 unforgettable days in Belize, where adventure meets purpose. This international service program takes you on a journey through the heart of Belizean culture—from exploring ancient Mayan ruins at Nim Li Punit to snorkeling the pristine waters of the Belize Barrier Reef.
