Event Details

During the Recruitment Hack-A-Thon, teams of students, officers and alumni will come together for two days to reimagine recruiting new members in the age of virtual operations or social distancing that chapters will likely face this coming academic year as a result of the pandemic. Participants will be broken up into small groups where they will collaborate, create and innovate to bring new solutions and resource ideas that help chapters build community, support their members and grow servant leaders who impact the four fields of service. The world needs more Alpha Phi Omega members to rally around the issues our communities are facing. This hack-a-thon is a chance for members to dig into solutions and stretch their ingenuity muscles while impacting change in the Fraternity. Teams will present their solutions at the end of the second day and a winner will be determined by the body of participants (with a prize for the winning team in addition to bragging rights!!!). he Hack-A-Thon will be held August 5 and 6 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. CT, with final presentations and the selection of a winning team held at the end of day two. An event agenda and access instructions will be provided to registered participants via email on August 3.
