Donor Recognition

The generous support of Alpha Phi Omega donors help to grow the connections to service shared by members on campuses and in communities nationwide.

The Torchbearer Fund supports the day-to-day operations of Alpha Phi Omega. Gifts to this fund provide much-needed revenue for increased chapter support, member services, publications, and leadership programs. Specifically, programs like National Service Week, Spring Youth Service Day, growing chapters, and APO LEADS,  are made possible through donations.

Without the generosity of Torchbearer donors, the Fraternity cannot fully support our students, and improve and expand existing programming while also keeping student fees low. Donations to the Torchbearer Fund continue the legacy left by more than 500,000 members over almost 100 years.

The Alpha Phi Omega Endowment, a 501 C(3) corporation, was established many years ago to support Alpha Phi Omega and its goals while also serving as a resource of support in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

The funds of the Endowment are invested and professionally managed. The income earned from the investments support a variety of programs, scholarships and grants through written agreements with the Fraternity. Gifts to the Endowment ensure that APO’s legacy will continue across college campuses throughout the nation for future generations.

This support is made possible through outright gifts, planned and deferred gifts, as well as joining the Society of Life Members.

If you have left Alpha Phi Omega in your estate plans, please let us know. We would like to celebrate with you by including you as a member of the Blue & Gold Society to recognize your vision for the future of our Fraternity!

Through decades of generous donations of alumni members the Fraternity is able to cover grants, scholarships and awards to current student members and chapters.

Annually, thousands of dollars are given to individual members in scholarships to those who show leadership through service in their community. There are also numerous grants given annually to chapters that assist in the furtherance of our Cardinal Principles of Leadership, Friendship and Service.

We are grateful to our alumni who started these programs as well as those who regularly contribute to these programs and allow the Fraternity to increase the amount of scholarships and grants given annually.
