Works with the Board of Directors to implement the strategic direction of the Fraternity while supporting the National Office with a wide range of matters relating to convention, vendors and partnerships. Oversees the Fraternity publications, affinity programs and all matters pertaining to risk management and Spirit & Standards.
The Deputy Executive Director provides support to the Executive Director and helps to streamline existing operations while developing new initiatives that touch both chapters and student members. Manages all services to chapters handled through the National Office including educational programs, online learning, Chapter Consultant visitation, programs that support chapter operations and liaison to national program committees.
Provides financial support relating to the Alpha Phi Omega Endowment and the Fraternity. Manages all areas of the finance department and oversees the national budgets.
Responsible for managing account receivables, chapter membership billing, online payments and credit card processing handled through the National Office. Provides chapter and alumni requests for Federal ID numbers and support for annual 990 filings.
Oversees all programs and educational services that support and assist chapters and extension groups in their pursuit of healthy, growing and impactful chapter communities.
Provides support for developing and chartering new chapters of Alpha Phi Omega on campuses where there is not an active chapter. Works with students, campus administrators and Fraternity volunteers as they develop the foundational practices and operations necessary to bring a chapter of APO to a campus.
Manages gift entry and donor recognition, entry and proper retention of donor and member data in the Fraternity’s database. Coordinates, promotes, schedules, and tracks participants and presenters of online courses and workshops, leadership development courses, and small meetings. Coordinates member registrations and provides administrative support for the National Convention.
Measures and increases membership engagement to support strategic direction of the Fraternity. Connects and interacts with members as they transition between membership stages for further member development and engagement. Works with staff to coordinates messaging to members and serves as a resource for providing member support within the Fraternity.
Supports all chapter services and reporting handled through the National Office including charter reaffirmations & AMD’s reporting, chapter awards, and extension support. Manages chapter and extension group reporting through the Officer Portal for database management and membership credentialing for pledges and initiates (actives), honorary members, advisory members, and life members.
Responsible for managing and developing all national public relations, graphic standards and social media aspects for the Fraternity. Implementing branding and trademark maintenance. Writes and delivers press releases, the Torch & Trefoil, Tribute to Alpha Phi Omega Supports, Alumni Connection e-newsletter and the Officer Letter e-newsletter.
Completes all order requests for merchandise, supplies and workshop materials handled through the National Office. Manages outgoing shipments and tracking information.
