Membership Academy

The Alpha Phi Omega Membership Academy is a weekend long skills training course designed to educate APO brothers in the basics of chapter membership operations. Participants will receive hands-on training from volunteer staff, network with brothers and alumni from around the country, and leave the course with tangible skills, ideas, information, and membership action plans that they can bring back and use immediately in their home chapters.

Who can attend?

All brothers and alumni are welcome to attend, however active/petitioning/interest group members will be give preference for academy registration. The Academy curriculum is designed primarily for new chapter Presidents, Vice Presidents of Membership, Pledge Trainers, members of Interest Groups & Petitioning Groups, and chapters struggling with their membership, but any brothers with an interest in membership programs can still benefit from, and are encouraged to attend this course.

While seasoned brothers and alumni from established chapters may find the academy content somewhat basic, the ideas and networking these experienced brothers can bring to the academy can be an excellent resource for the other brothers in attendance The academy is also a great way to reinforce or refresh the membership programs already in place at established chapters.
